| Shea Butter comes from the Karite Nut, which we get from Africa where it is grown with organic methods. Our Shea Butter is unrefined and comes to us direct from nature. Most shea butter on the market today has been refined and deodorized which removes many of its healing qualities. |

Cheeky Maiden Soap Company uses high quality, cosmetic grade fragrance oils that are skin safe and alcohol free. Fragrance oils are generally made from a combination of essential oils and synthetic aromatic compounds. Cheeky Maiden strives to bring you natural soaps with beautiful scents that sometimes require the use of fragrance oils. These oils are always used in a lesser proportion than recommended to ensure that the quality and integrity of our soaps have not been disturbed. We always disclose the use of synthetic fragrances on our labels and ingredients lists. |

| For asthetically pleasing soap, Cheeky Maiden loves to add unique and vibrant variations of herbs to her soap. All colors are achieved naturally using the herbs and roots provided by our Creator! |
| Glycerin |
| Cheeky Maiden does not mess with nature and so does not remove the abundance of glycerin naturally found in her soap. Glycerin is a skin softening agent that most commercial soaps have removed and replaced with cheap substitutes. We do not add synthetic or additional glycerin to our soap. The glycerin found in our soaps is naturally occuring. |
