Our Ingredients

Pure Oils

Our natural vegetable oils are not hydrogenated and as minimally processed as possible. Our favorite selection of skin nourishing oils is Olive, Palm, Coconut, Castor, Avocado, and Apricot Kernel. We also like to add a touch of Cocoa Butter from time to time, for an outstanding luxurious bar of soap.

Shea Butter

Shea Butter comes from the Karite Nut, which we get from Africa where it is grown with organic methods. Our Shea Butter is unrefined and comes to us direct from nature. Most shea butter on the market today has been refined and deodorized which removes many of its healing qualities.

Essential Oils

All essential oils are pure, high quality, and steam distilled. We do not use ANY synthetic fragrances in our products! Not only do essential oils smell wonderful, without overpowering your senses, many also have aromatherapeutic and skin nurturing benefits. Your nose will know the difference and your mind and body will thank you.

Herbs and Additives

For asthetically pleasing soap, Cheeky Maiden loves to add unique and vibrant variations of herbs to her soap. All colors are achieved naturally using the herbs and roots provided by our Creator!
Some of our soap contains natural additives, such as Bamboo Charcoal, Calendula or Lavender Flower, ground coffee, or Oatmeal. All of our additives impart beneficial elements.

Glycerin

Cheeky Maiden does not mess with nature and so does not remove the abundance of glycerin naturally found in her soap. Glycerin is a skin softening agent that most commercial soaps have removed and replaced with cheap substitutes. We do not add synthetic or additional glycerin to our soap. The glycerin found in our soaps is naturally occurring.
