Read Before First Use: Liquid shampoos contain synthetic ingredients that purposefully leave a plastic like build up on your hair. (This is what makes it shine). If you are new to using a shampoo bar you may find that you develop a waxy residue on your hair. The residue is left over from your synthetic shampoo (NOT the shampoo bar) and a natural shampoo bar will not remove this. However, it is easily removed with a "vinegar rinse." Depending on how much product you use to style your hair, you may find that you need to do a vinegar rinse once in a while before using our natural shampoo for the first time. (Once was all it took for the Maiden.) The vinegar will act as a natural conditioner and leave your hair silky and shiny!
